They look at the most recent 3 years. If you have fails in this time frame, they must be included and count as 0 (which pulls down an average severely).

I just thought I'd add something else- if the last of the semesters you would include has more than the appropriate number of points, I guess you could eliminate the worst results from that semester..

You will have to use the most recent results, equating to 3 years full time. So just say you did 5 instead of 4 subjects each semester in the last 3 years, you would be using the most recent 5 semeste ...
