You could also check out revisegamsat, I passed Gamsat this year in the top 5% and am hopefuly starting in 2010. I put all my notes online. It's all free, good luck!

Yes, I think anything less than 6 months is tight, that was just the general state of things. In the UK only 1 in 12 get through to interview.
