i'm still very confused by the reviews mentioned from previous messages.
i studied physics and chemistry long time ago (probly need a refreshment with them and maybe biology) and not good with essays or economics at all.
i graduated from BSc(BIOMED) a year ago, and currently working in research field full time. i think i will have maybe 2-3hrs/day to prepare for 2010's GAMSAT or it enough?
and most importantly, which material is more suitable for me?

yeah the reviews tend to be mixed because no single prep course is perfect unfortunately; I bought des o'neill's prep notes a few months ago because people have said their science revision is good. I haven't started studying yet though so I can't say for sure:(

The des o'neill website is ...however I'd suggest buying material second-hand, you can get things for much cheaper. Just look in the Marketplace section of this forum if you haven't already.

Good luck =)

From what I can tell on the Paging Dr forum, comptext (des o'neil) and medprep seem like the dominant gamsat prep options in Aust and gradmed in the UK. I am definitely weak in physics and chem too so I got hold of medprep's 2007 book and des mcq book from a mate for free. After looking these over I felt that I needed to start my study without too much assumed knowledge that these books seem to have.

After a lot of lurking on various gamsat forums and talking to people, I decided to invested in medprep's 2010 delux course last week because I want to start my revision as soon as uni exams are over and don't want to wait for des lectures in february. I received my medprep materials on Monday and am looking forward to digging in. You get 30 hrs of web-based lectures, 2 thick books that cover all the theory and questions and 3 trial gamsat exams and a heap of essay assignments that they mark. I started viewing the online lectures right away and feel that the explanations of the science topics is fantastic (I only looked at chem so far). This is really what I need I think. I have not sampled the humanities or essay lectures yet (too much uni revision to worry about at the moment) and also I don't feel so intimidated by sections 1 and 2.

I will update everyone on my view of medprep delux when I am stuck into it more. I will use des mcq book once I feel more confident since it is recommended.
