Basically I'm asking for advice whether or not to waste my time from now until the 24th of March test date.

Ive done NO study for the Gamsat, have been so busy with rubbish in my personal life. My undergrad is in Psychology, a 1:1.
I have virtually no physics or chemistry.

My interests are in Neurology.

If you had 15 days to study for the Gamsat from scratch what would you do?

Shocked

Having paid for it, you may as well try to do as well as you can.
Get the practice tests from ACER and go through them; try to do each section at least once under exam conditions.
Get onto the chemistry study - it's worth 40% of Section III. The biology seems to be often (though not always) something that just requires the skills to read a graph or figure and reason logically.
Physics is worth 20% of Section III, but it's worth having a look at the basic concepts used in the practice tests.
Disclaimer: I have sat the GAMSAT in the past, but it was a decade ago - coming back for third time lucky this year. So my suggestions come only from my own preparation, and not from any recent experience of the GAMSAT itself.

Hey Rose Pearl thanks so much for the reply!
Maybe you're right, it has cost me a lot for the application so maybe I should just do it. Have you done much prep for it? third time lucky wow I hope you get it this time. Exclamation Whats made you go back again? I'm mid thirties by the way!

It's always worthwhile to give it your best shot.
I thought I'd conquered the urge to do medicine with a science degree, but it seems that's not the case. Now I'm contemplating doing it in my thirties with two children - probably a little crazy, but we'll see how it goes. I've done some preparation, but not enough to stop me feeling panicky now that there's only two weeks to go.

Hey, congrats Rose on getting the courage to do that. I'm in a similar boat. I'm aiming for the September UK GAMSAT in Melbourne later this year. I've done plenty of science, but its been a long time since 1st year bio, chem, phys.

Good luck and all the best for everyone.

Madhatter, as Rose said, I would absolutely give it a shot. If nothing else, you'll have gotten some practice for sitting the next one.

Don't worry, I have only been revising on and off for the last couple of weeks as I am on full time placement and didn't register until the last possible day. Just go over A-level chemistry - especially organic chemistry and naming compounds. I have left biology (as my degree was in human biology) and physics has taken a back seat! I've written a few essays to get into the swing of things. When I've asked other doctors who have done the GAMSAT they just said do the past papers. Don't panic, just stay positive Very Happy

They have since been out to purify Africa with lemon scented Sunlight detergent, so Bobo can have a purer image to the lemon gods

best wishes to you and yours in this. My mother just died of bone cancer a couple weeks ago, and my 10 year old daughter was there with me through it all.
