Hey all I just want some clarity on how the gpa is calculated. I am in my 3rd year undergraduate degree and next year was supposed to be my last year however i got ill 1st semester this year and so i was told to withdraw from my units because i couldnt make the final exam. Im currently enrolled in uni this semester and next year will NOT be my final year as i have to do 1 extra semester in 2013 to make up for the lost one last semester. So does my 2013 1st semester subjects get counted towards the 3 most recent years in my gpa In other words does my gpa consist of my 2010 units, 2nd semester 2011, 2012 units and 1st semester 2013 to make it 3 full years.
Thanks in advance |

That sounds right to me, but I know that some universities will consider different permiatations of studies, often to your advantage.
UWA for example will consider the most recent three years of study, even if they're not associated with the same degree.
Talk to the university you're most interested in, and ask them their GPA policy. |
