Hi,
I calculated my gpa and it is around 5.6 weighted. I havent sat gamsat yet, but do you think this gpa is ok?

The general rule of thumb is 5.0 min and 5.5 to be competitive. So your score is OK but each Uni has it's own requirements. Take a look at the ACER admin guide to get more specifics.

I don't necessarily agree with cat.
If you apply to a university with a hurdle GPA, then your 5.6 is fine. If its a competitive GPA university, then 5.6 is not particularly strong, and you'll need a good GAMSAT result to be competitive.
In short, don't rest on your GPA, as its unlikely to set anyone's world on fire. That being said, it doesn't put you out of the running, so long as you work hard and get a good GAMSAT Score. |
