Hey. Don't suppose you guys are looking for a private tutor for Sections I and II?

I've been tutoring students in Sections I and II (ie. humanities and essay writing) for the past three years and have sat the GAMSAT twice myself (so I'm very in tune with how the test functions). I was accepted into Monash Medicine last year, after graduating from Arts/Law at Monash and over the last few years have worked with students at different levels (particularly those from science backgrounds) who are looking to hone their essay writing and text analysis skills.

I'm happy to meet wherever suits. I live in Richmond and hold a lot of tutes there, but also hold tutes in the CBD and surrounding suburbs.

If you are interested in some private or small group tutoring or wish to discuss rates, don't hesitate to send me a message.

Based on my own results and those of my past students, I can guarantee spending a little time of these two neglected sections can have a noticable impact on your final score. Cheers, Hannah.

Hi Sarah,

Yes the groups are still meeting. There is a Sunday group (10-4) and a Thursday group (8-11). You'll need to PM (private message) Lisa if you're interested in the Sunday group or myself for Thursdays. Both groups are welcoming and appreciative of new members.

Hi all, after reading most of the posts, I realized I'm quite a late starter on this GAMSAT preparation business. Time to catch up for me!

I'm currently working as an Occupational Therapist, also have a degree in Biochemistry. Both Thursday night and weekend study groups work for me. Would I be able to still join these groups?

Is there one this Thursday and this weekend?

cheers,
Lo

I really think I've left this a bit late if you have all been studying since June!

I'm currently finishing my Nuclear Medicine degree but also have an arts/science (anatomy and physiology) background.

I'd love to join either, or both of the study groups. Where do you guys usually meet?

Hi Guys,

I am a Chiropractor and have been studying for the GAMSTAT for about 6 months now. I just came across this webpage and would love to come to your study group. Is there still room?

Thanks
Camille

Hi Everyone,
I am back from overseas so if you are keen I will be at the RMIT library at 10am on sunday morning. The topics will be from the MCAT material, chapter 3. I will be doing the in class exam during that time and going over it afterwards. If anyone can make a Thursday or would prefer a Thursday let me know.
Cheers,
Lisa
P.S. Please PM me and let me know if you can attend.

Hi Everyone,
I will be at the RMIT library from 9 am on Thursday the 3rd of February. The topic will be Chapter 3 from MCAT/ for those that do not have MCAT; Carbonyls, Amines and Amides. We will do the exams and go through the answers. Those of you that do not have the MCAT can photocopy when you get there.
Cheers,
Lisa
P.S. Please PM me and let me know if you are able to attend.

Hi all

Been studying since November, have got most of the concepts down pat (in Khan we trust), except for a few nagging ones that span physics and orgo.

Is the study group still on? Weekends and evenings suit.

Also, any tutors with "pedigree", contact me.

I have a computer science (with a pinch of psych) background, working full time, and have all guru method materials (which, overall, is actually quite good), live northside.

Cheers
Arya

Hey guys,
Realised I got into this a bit late, I am a final year Biotechnology student at RMIT.
Looking at hardcore revision sessions over the next few (daunting) weeks. I have MCAT revision DVDs for all topics (bar humanities/reasoning). I have a pretty good grasp on both chem and bio, if you want to get together send me an email at will.howden@student.rmit.edu.au
Good luck everyone!
Will
