Hey guys, I'm just at the point of seriously considering going back to uni and following my lifelong dream of becoming a Dr. HOWEVER... I am wondering at the REAL time committment for Med School in terms of attendance AND outside study load.
I have a young family and a very supportive husband but I don't want to make a completely selfish decision without first knowing all the facts.
What are your experiences of Med school and how does the time committment change over the years?
Thanks in advance for any replies! |

I'm a father, and I work while studying. Feel free to PM me with further questions. |

I'm also a mother of two who has just completed the first year at Melbourne. So far, things have been quite manageable. I still do all the things that need to be done around the house (cooking, cleaning, kids homework etc) and find time to study. It's all about balance. |
