Best ask the university. I rang Griffith and they gave me their cut offs. I am sure you could do the same with Flinders. I don't intend applying there so have no clue - wasn't it in the 2008 admissions guide? You can download that off the ACER website. Good luck!

Flinders doesn't have a cut off for the gamsat - they use your gamsat and degree score to decide who gets interviewed and total all three and divide by three for a score to rank you for a place. At least that is what I was told but then who knows?

Flinders last year had a GAMSAT cut-off of 61, but offers interviews to people with "exceptional" GPAs about 4 points below the cut-off. See below:

Exceptional GPA usually means above 6 in each GPA year.

In general the overall GAMSAT score required for invitation to a Flinders interview was 61% or more. For invitations to interview in any category scores of at least 50% in GAMSAT Sections I and III; and at least 46% in Section II were required. If you applied to Flinders as first preference, or your application was passed on from a higher preference, and your overall GAMSAT score was 61% or better (with the minimum Section scores given) you will be invited to an interview.

Applicants in the Indigenous, Northern Territory or Rural Sub-quotas with overall scores of 57% or better will, in general, be invited to interview, although in the Rural sub-quota, invitations to interview are also based, in part, on assessment of an autobiographical statement by the Riverland Selection Committee.

Applicants with overall scores in the range 57-60% who have GPAs in their undergraduate degree, considered to be exceptional by the Admissions Committee, will be interviewed in the special entry to interview category.

Applicants on an Overall GAMSAT score of 60% who do not fall into any categories above and who indicated on their application form they wished to be considered for a full-fee place, will be invited to a "full-fee interview". This group will be considered only for the offer of a full-fee place.

Cheers and Good Luck.

Hi everyone
A very polite lady at Monash clarified for me via email today that the 10 year since Bachelors degree rule does NOT apply at Monash Gippsland. This is consistent with what their website said all along but note: the GAMSA 2008 guide listed them as an institution that does apply the rule - this was incorrect
