Adrian!
Is everything ok with your grandfather?!? My grandpa recently passed away because he had metastatic adenocarcinoma, they think the primary was in his pancreas but it was the cancer in the lungs that caused his death.

Anyway, I hope he is going ok and same for you.

Adrian I hope your grandfather's surgery goes well. I haven't seen bowel surgery patients in ages but from what it sounds like he will still have all the important parts of his bowel left for nutrient absorption - so lets hope it all goes to plan!

So which brother of Rouha's did you go to school with? PM me if you like so that we are not broadcasting all her family names on the internet! Yes her bro did get married recently and she is going to give me a CD with photos on it of the wedding - apparently it was very good.

I agree that it is particularly freaky that the day I mention Roo is the day you see a photo of her and actualy know her brother.......how very strange. Small world it is!

And thanks disco hof for your support - I am a little pressimist at heart! Very Happy

Drjv....sorry to hear about your grandfather. It brings me comfort about this morning's op Shocked No, seriously though, he has no mets, this is an early stage tumour, so it should be relatively simple.
The only thing I'm worried about is post-op complications, because he had a stroke less than three months ago. The biggest thing now (well, after the surgery) I guess is to keep bp and PT stable so he doesn't throw off a clot and stroke-out worse than the first time.

But thanks for the concern, it's much appreciated Very Happy

ACER suck. Good luck!

No offence guys, but can we please start new topics or chat in private about stuff that's got nothing to do with the current topic heading - i.e. Griffith Offers?
